A free, 2 day course allowing opportunity for space to explore questions that arise when working with people from diverse communities.
The training will explore our personal world views and identity before moving on to developing our awareness of differing religions and traditions. This will enable us to explore the issues that can arise when differing worldviews interact and what constitutes best practice. The training will end by considering how to take this information forward into the project work you have undertaken.
The cultural competency training is part of our Social Prescribing For all research project (SP4ALL). In particular, we're looking for arts, nature-based organisations and Social Prescribing practitioners to join us. The training is also suitable for link workers as well as charity and voluntary organisations in Derby & Derbyshire.
