On Saturday 17th September 2016, 30 enthusiastic individuals met at the St James’ Centre in Normanton Derby to start the Multi-Faith Centre Faith Walk. This walk involved visiting the Jamia Mosque where an excellent talk was held with opportunity for Q&A. This was followed by a walk to the Geeta Bhawan Hindu Temple, where the group were welcomed and provided a fascinating talk about the Hindu faith and worship as well as the opportunity to ask any questions they had. The final walk was to the Guru Arjan Dev Sikh Gurdwara, where a talk was provided before being welcomed for a delicious lunch. The Faith Walk provided a great opportunity for people to come together and gain insights into the three faiths, whilst enjoying a walk through the local Normanton area.
