The St James Centre are pleased to announce that from the 1st January 2021, the Roma Community Care Project will be moving from the Multi-Faith Centre to become part of the work of St James!

The Multi-Faith Centre has supported it successfully on its journey to becoming an established and much valued source of community support and advice. St James is looking forward to working with Roma Community Care and the Roma Community on their next stages of development.

Roma Community Care will become part of St James Centre's established Bi-lingual Advice Service, which helps people to overcome their problems and move forward in their lives. The project will continue to operate from its office at Pear Tree School, although during the COVID Pandemic staff will continue to work remotely.

Alongside the advice service, St James Centre will be working with the Roma Community and the Statutory and Voluntary services to develop new initiatives and services to help them prosper, integrate and make their distinctive contribution to the life of the city of Derby now and in the future.

If you would like to work with the St James Centre, please contact them:
