City-Wide Prayer for Peace

As an expression of solidarity and togetherness, individuals and organisations of all faiths and no-faith are invited to host or attend one of the many events we hope will run throughout the city during the week of Monday 27^th November.

The Multi-Faith Centre in collaboration with the University of Derby will be hosting their Prayers for Peace event on Thursday 30^th November, offering a quiet, contemplative space for University of Derby staff and students to reflect and pray. Prayer cards will be available alongside a ‘Peace Tree’ inviting attendees to add a white ribbon representing their prayer for peace to the tree. Whilst this event is aimed at the University community, our friends and supporters are welcome to attend, however booking is required.
