To mark 365 days of the war in Ukraine, join us in making sunflowers at the Cathedral Centre on Friday 24th February between 12pm-4pm. People of all ages can join our artist led workshops to create a sunflower of hope that will be carried on the peace procession later that day.

Sunflowers are a wonderful symbol of hope for Ukraine. Not only are they a beautiful and iconic symbol of the country, they also represent the resilience and strength of the Ukrainian people. Sunflowers have a special place in Ukrainian culture and have been used by Ukrainians for centuries to express hope and joy. Sunflowers are a reminder of the country's vibrant and rich history, and the resilience of the Ukrainian people to overcome difficulty and achieve success.
