Faith & Belief Month: Celebration of the Buddhist Festival of Vesak

All over South-East Asia, and in various other parts of the world, the festival of Vesak takes place at which Buddhists simultaneously celebrate three events:

• The birth of the Buddha

• The enlightenment of the Buddha

• The final passing away of the Buddha

This year as part of the University of Derby Faith & Belief month, Buddhist Faith Consultant Keith Munnings, is hosting a celebration providing everyone with the opportunity to experience and share in this annual festival.

Everyone welcome and there will be to a chance to meet with others over refreshments.
