HMD Event: The Auschwitz Sapling

A special event to mark the planting of a sapling grown from a horse chestnut found at Auschwitz-Birkenau camp and unveiling of the plaque on the University of Derby Campus.

During The Holocaust, more than 1.1million people died in the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp including nearly one million Jews.

Please assemble for10.30 am at the Multi-Faith Centre where hot drinks will be available before we congregate at the site. Everyone is welcome.
