Interfaith Week 2026 runs from 8 to 15 November and provides a national focus for strengthening interfaith relations and raising awareness of the diverse faith communities across the UK.
The MultiFaith Centre at the University of Derby is supporting Interfaith Week by hosting a number of free events. Students and staff are invited to join us for a Lantern Making Workshop.
In collaboration with Surtal Arts, the MultiFaith Centre is hosting an exciting Lantern Making workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity for students and staff of all faiths, beliefs and none to come together, meet new people, and to create some beautiful lanterns in a fun and welcoming environment.
📅 Saturday 14 November
🕥 12noon to 2:00pm
The workshop is free of charge, but places are limited, so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
To reserve your place, please email Jo at [email protected].
We look forward to welcoming you to the MultiFaith Centre during Interfaith Week.
