Lantern Making Workshop with Surtal Arts

We are partnering with Surtal Arts to join their annual Derby Season of Light celebration by hosting a Lantern Making Workshop at the Multi Faith Centre.

Derby Season of Light aims to unite communities and cultures - embracing various festivals including Diwali, Rabi’ Al-Awwal, Hanukkah, Bonfire Night, Christmas, and the upcoming Chinese New Year which all share the common theme of light.

Join us on Sunday 13^th October as we are guided through the process of making a willow and tissue paper lantern which can then be carried at the Derby Lantern Parade on Saturday 30^th November.
