Join us on Wednesday 17th January as we explore practical methods women of faith can use to better care for their mental wellbeing.
This month's guest speaker is Chartered Psychologist and ordained Buddhist Chaplain, Dr. Brenda Caldwell Phillips. Dr. Caldwell Phillips co-directs the MSc Health Psychology Programme at the University of Derby and provides psychospiritual support to patients with cancer. She is a member of the Prajna Mountain Buddhist Order and Zen Peacemaker Order.
The Women in Faith Network is a friendly, welcoming forum for Women of Faith to come together to discuss issues which affect women across Derby. It is a supportive, nurturing, inspirational space where women can network, share experiences, learn from best practice, and find inspiration to continue the valuable work they do within their communities and workplaces throughout the city.
This event is open to all women of faith, we ask that organisational representatives do not attend in a promotional capacity. We are however seeking inspirational speakers to present on a range of topics at our meetings throughout the year. Please contact [email protected] to register your interest.
