Join us as we explore the use of restorative intervention and discuss community responses to crime in Derby.
This month’s Women in Faith Network event will explore the use of Restorative Justice in offering offering victims of crime the opportunity to engage in a restorative intervention, learn about projects and initiatives tackling crime in the city and discuss how we as individuals can positively impact change.
We are delighted to welcome guest speaker Natasha May , Community Engagement Coordinator at Remedi one of the UK’s leading facilitators of Restorative Justice services across the youth and adult criminal justice arena.
The Women in Faith Network is a friendly, welcoming forum for Women of Faith from across Derby to come together to discuss issues which affect them. It is a supportive, nurturing, inspirational space where women can network, share experiences, learn from best practice, and find inspiration to continue the valuable work they do within their communities and workplaces throughout the city.
This event is open to all women of faith, and free to attend. Booking is required.
A light vegetarian buffet and refreshments will be served on arrival.
