World Interfaith Harmony Week: The Most Beautiful Story Ever Told, Seminar with Dr Musharraf Hussain

Taking place in February every year, World Interfaith Harmony week aims to encourage people across the world to come together to share the rich diversity of world faiths, encouraging learning, sharing and discussion.

We are honoured to host Dr Musharraf Hussain Al-Azhari OBE, DL translator the Majestic Quran* who will be sharing his latest book The Most Beautiful Story: A Commentary of Surat Yusuf. This book is an insightful exploration of one of the Quran’s most intriguing chapters teaching the moral virtues of patience, kindness, courage, and forgiveness as practiced by various characters. It’s an amazing story of human weaknesses and strengths.

With the Bible also telling the story of Joseph, we are also delighted to welcome The Very Revd Jerry Lepine who will provide a Christian response. This interfaith reading will provide the opportunity to explore interfaith convergence and divergence hear how Islam and Christianity promote moral, social, and spiritual values through scripture.

At the end of the event Dr Musharraf Hussain will be offering the opportunity to purchase his book and have it signed.

This event is free to attend, booking is required. As a registered charity The Multi Faith Centre relies upon and welcomes donations. These can be made on the evening in the donation box in reception.
