We are saddened to announce the death of Geoff Sweeney, former director of the MultiFaith Centre.

Geoff was a very kind and gentle soul, and above all, always willing to listen. We appointed him during covid time, and all processes were conducted on line. He took his post very  seriously and soon established lot of links and applied for funding from all sources that were known to him.

When he first broke the news of he being affected by chest pain and eventually a tumour, we all felt very sad but hopeful that it was at stage 1, and therefore curable. During the process, it took a drastic turn to stage 4. He still carried out all his duties very diligently with a smile on his face, becoming weaker by the day, until his resignation.

May the Lord bless his soul and bestow strength upon the family to bear the sorrows of his passing away.
