To mark the first anniversary of the war on Ukraine, a peace procession was held through Derby. This was an opportunity for people to come together to share hope and prayers. Over 500 people were in attendance to mark the special day.
The Peace Procession started from Cathedral Green in Derby via the marketplace and Iron gate towards the Cathedral tower, which was lit-up with the Ukrainian colours and a short film by local artist by Phil Harris.
A community workshop, Peace Procession and Prayer vigil were all held to commemorate the anniversary.
