The Multi Faith Centre is recruiting for a part-time Marketing & Events Manager, a creative thinker who shares our values and commitment to taking the Multi Faith Centre forward on the next stage of it's exciting journey.
The Multi Faith Centre is a registered independent charity, based on campus at the University of Derby. We encourage dialogue, co-operation and understanding between people from different faith communities and civil society, who aim to improve the wellbeing of vulnerable people in Derbyshire. Our vision is a society where the diversity and expertise of faith communities actively contributes to the building of safe, healthy and cohesive communities throughout Derbyshire.
We are currently recruiting for a part-time (21 hours) Marketing & Events Manager. The purpose of the role is to increase the profile of the Multi Faith Centre, through varied digital communication channels such as social media, E-broadcasts, website maintenance etc, as well as event planning and management. The role will also entail providing office administration support, such as being the first point of contact for general enquiries and liaising with the University Security & Estates teams.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills; an organised individual who is able to build relationships with various stakeholders.
