As part of our Inter-Faith Week activities to strengthen inter faith understanding and cooperation; highlight the contribution of faith groups to society; and to encourage dialogue between those of religious and non-religious beliefs, the outside of the Multi Faith Centre at the University of Derby’s Kedleston Road campus was transformed into a backdrop for moving images and words on the theme of journey and pilgrimage as reflected in a rich mixture of traditions. The film installation took place on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th November and was a highly visual opportunity for people of all backgrounds and faiths to reflect on each other's traditions.

Rev Adam Dickens said ‘The idea of journey and pilgrimage is common to many faith traditions as part of the search for a deeper connection with what is ultimate in life, with God. It is also increasingly attractive, though, to those with no explicit faith as part of seeking for greater meaning, purpose, values and truth.’
